Pioneering computational research for sustainable development
C2Snet is a centre for multidisciplinary research where computing power is channeled towards solving various developmental problems confronting humanity.
We bring together researchers from diverse backgrounds including Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Agriculture, Medicine, Mathematics and Computer Science to collaborate on research that fosters development and propels us toward actualizing the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Computational research has become essential in modern-day research, permeating various domains from humanities to social sciences, as well as sciences and engineering. However, awareness and involvement in computational research in our region remain limited.
Many researchers remain attached to conventional methods while overlooking the enormous potential of data-driven research and computational power.
C2SN was conceived to bridge this gap through awareness campaigns, training, collaborative research, and networking across borders.
Guiding principles that drive our research
